To my friends, fans, and fellow creators,
I’ve always believed that music is about honesty. Today, I need to be honest with you about a challenge I’ve been facing behind the scenes.
For the past 3 years, I’ve been struggling with a serious hiatal hernia—a mechanical condition where my stomach has displaced into my chest. While it sounds like a hidden injury, the effects have been very visible in my life. It has made breathing difficult, eating a constant struggle, and most painfully, it is causing ongoing damage to my vocal cords.
As many of you have noticed, I’ve had to take a step back from performing. At my current weight and physical state, my body simply can’t support the music I want to share with you.
The Path to Recovery
The good news is that there is a solution. I am currently working with a team of world-leading specialists in London to undergo a LINX surgery. This procedure will physically repair the hernia, protect my voice from further scarring, and allow me to regain the strength I’ve lost.
Because the standard wait times for this surgery are longer than my body can safely afford, I am moving forward with this treatment privately to ensure I can return to the stage before any damage becomes permanent.
How You Can Help
Taking the step to ask for help isn’t easy, but I am determined to get back to my purpose. I’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of the surgery, diagnostics, and the recovery process.

Whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing my story, your support means the world to me. It’s more than just a medical fix; it’s a bridge back to the music, the songwriting, and the connection we share.
Thank you for sticking with me through this quiet chapter. I can’t wait to find my voice again and share it with you all very soon.
With gratitude,
Alex
